At the Phillips Collection

Gentle visitors, your humble Contributer visited the Phillips Collection recently with some of the poor Relations.  What follows are his observations, fashioned in rhyming couplets to bring some literary feel to the visual arts.

Cézanne painted a handsome pear
Manet sketched a Baudelaire
Monet made a fine impression
Van Gogh gave ear to depression
Renoir rendered a nauti-soiree
Degas depicted a pre-ballet
Gauguin inked a Tahitian chick
And,
I drew only a figure in stick.
