Gentle nonvisitors, we are happy to report an utterly unvisited blog on its first day (though sad that the report is falling on deaf ears, or rather absent though hearing ears).
There is something pure and wonderful about emptiness: a clear, blue sky; a vast, uncluttered horizon; an uninhabited place. How delightful the open road and a full load of fossil fuel.
Your humble Contributor has consulted the great vacancy of his mind, from time to time, and found it pleasing and restful....

Speaking a couple of months after this post (well archaeology can be fun), I would venture to point out that site meters (which, incidentally, seems to have stopped working - it has stuck on 1,800) are hardly evidence of a total lack of care about traffic. What is written needs to be read to provide encouragement and solace for the writer... or blogger, for that matter. ;)
